Announcements for Sunday December 8, 2024

  • Automatic deposit/etransfer is set up for the church for the offering.  The address is treasurer@billtownbaptist.com. Annual receipts will be tracked for income tax purposes.  

  • The Advent Devotions are printed and available. Please take one and share with family and friends.

  • The Children's Christmas Concert will be Sunday, Dec. 15th at 10 am during the service.

  • There will be a potluck following the service on Sunday Dec. 22nd.

  • Hamper List is out in the gathering space. Items are due in by Sunday, December 22nd.

  • Christmas Eve Service will be held at 4 pm. 

  • December 8th, 7 pm. Morristown Baptist Church. Men of St. Anthony Choir.

  • Lakeville Community Christmas Potluck Supper Wednesday, Dec 11th at 6 pm. Bring a dish to share and your plate and cutlery. We will take donations for the food bank. Every welcomed! Merry Christmas from the Lakeville Women's Institute.

  • Weekly Bible Study is on Mondays @ 1:30 at Pat Mutch's. Topic: Jesus Christ - Teacher, Servant, Savior. The last one will be held on Monday, December 9th before a break for the Christmas holiday. It will resume in the New Year.

  • There are copies of the Constitution & By-Laws 2024 Draft version in the entryway.

  • Foodbank donations are donated at the beginning of every month, alternating between Kentville & Canning. The foodbank can also use recyclable bags, water bottles, egg cartons, and items to use as birthday gifts for children up to the age of 11, which can all be dropped off at the church.

  • Coffee Club is every Tuesday from 9-11 am at the church.

  • Every Wednesday from 9-4 is quilting at the Northville Farm Heritage Centre. All are welcome.

  • The Women's Institute meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month @1:30 at the Lakeville Community Hall.
